By accessing or using StandbyRoster ("the Service"), operated by JobKit LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StandbyRoster is an AI-powered career platform that provides:

• Job listing aggregation from international organizations
• AI-powered resume-to-job matching and scoring
• AI-generated customized resumes tailored to specific job postings
• AI-generated cover letters for job applications
• Professional document downloads (DOCX format)

StandbyRoster is an independent service and is not officially affiliated with the United Nations or any international organization whose jobs appear on the platform.

3. Account Registration

• You must sign in using a valid Google account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your profile current.
• One account per individual. Account sharing is not permitted.

4. Credits and Payment

4.1 Credit System

StandbyRoster operates on a credit-based system. Credits are required to use AI-powered features:

• Job Match Scan: 10 credits
• Auto-Match (all jobs): 25 credits
• Resume Customization: 50 credits
• Cover Letter Generation: 30 credits
• Full Application Bundle: 80 credits

4.2 Purchases

• Credits are available as one-time packs or monthly subscriptions.
• All prices are in US Dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Credits from one-time packs do not expire.
• Monthly subscription credits are added at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

4.3 Subscriptions

• Monthly subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. AI-Generated Content

• AI-generated resumes, cover letters, and match scores are provided as suggestions and tools to assist your job search.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and finalizing any AI-generated content before submitting it to employers.
• StandbyRoster does not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in interviews or job offers.
• Match scores are estimates based on algorithmic analysis and should be used as guidance, not absolute measures.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any specific purpose.

6. User Content and Data

• Your Ownership: You retain full ownership of all resumes, documents, and personal information you upload to StandbyRoster.
• License to Us: By uploading content, you grant StandbyRoster a limited license to process your data for the purpose of providing the Service (AI matching, customization, etc.).
• No Selling of Data: We do not sell your personal data or resume content to third parties.
• Data Processing: Your resume text is sent to AI services (OpenAI) solely for the purpose of generating match scores, customized resumes, and cover letters.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content.
• Abuse the credit system, including attempting to obtain unauthorized credits.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit AI-generated content as a service.
• Circumvent rate limits or security measures.

8. Job Listings

• Job listings are aggregated from publicly available sources and may not always be current.
• StandbyRoster does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of any job listing.
• All job applications are submitted through the respective organization's official portals, not through StandbyRoster.
• We are not responsible for hiring decisions made by any organization.

9. Intellectual Property

• The StandbyRoster platform, including its design, code, AI algorithms, and branding, is the property of JobKit LLC.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.
• AI-generated content created for you is licensed for your personal and professional use.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• StandbyRoster is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to StandbyRoster in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time by contacting contact@standbyroster.org.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Unused credits are non-transferable and will be forfeited upon account termination, except where a refund is applicable under our Refund Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
