Refund & Cancellation Policy

Summary: We want you to be satisfied with StandbyRoster. One-time credit packs are refundable within 7 days if credits are unused. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime with no further charges. Failed AI operations are automatically refunded.
1. One-Time Credit Packs
- Full Refund: If you have not used any credits from a one-time pack, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
- Partial Use: If some credits have been used, a pro-rated refund may be issued at our discretion for the unused portion, within 7 days of purchase.
- After 7 Days: One-time credit packs are non-refundable after 7 days from the date of purchase.
2. Monthly Subscriptions
- Cancellation: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees.
- Access After Cancellation: Your credits and subscription benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, you retain access until the period ends.
- How to Cancel: Email contact@standbyroster.org with your account email and we will process the cancellation within 24 hours.
3. Failed AI Operations
If an AI operation (match scan, resume customization, cover letter generation) fails due to a technical error on our end:
- Credits are automatically refunded to your account immediately.
- No action is required from you — the system handles this automatically.
- You will see the refund in your transaction history.
4. Service Dissatisfaction
If you are not satisfied with the quality of AI-generated content:
- Contact us at contact@standbyroster.org with details of the issue.
- We will review your case and may offer a credit refund or bonus credits at our discretion.
- We are committed to delivering high-quality results and appreciate your feedback.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Email contact@standbyroster.org with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your account email address and the date of purchase.
- Describe the reason for your refund request.
- We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Stripe.
- Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed.
7. Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Credits that have already been fully consumed.
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
- Requests made more than 7 days after purchase for one-time packs.
- Fraudulent or abusive refund requests.
