Partnerships for the goals Volunteer category:Associate UCoS from Apr2026 Work schedule:Full-time Number of Assignments:1 Mission and objectives: - ITU EGY organization mission TBD - The ITU is looking for a “Share Point Associate” with the goal of designing, developing and maintaining a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software platform for the ITU Arab Regional Office. - Under the direct supervision of the ITU Regional Office’s Regional Director, the UN Volunteer will be working within a team that will be responsible to design, develop, and maintain a CRM for the ITU Arab Regional Office preferably using Microsoft SharePoint. The established CRM will aim at showcasing the efforts of the ITU Arab Regional Office in the region, map the projects and events on the ground, and acts as a data hub that allows for synthesization of such data allowing for complex monitoring and evaluation capabilities on achieving regional and global goals. The developed CRM should depend on both share point data bases and external resources, and should enable the ITU ARO staff to: - • Store contact details and interaction history - • Track engagement (emails, meetings, calls, services) - • Manage follow-ups, campaigns, or casework - • Segment and analyze groups of data (e.g. by interest, geography, funding) - • Generate reports and dashboards - Candidate must be a national of a country other than the country of assignment. Additional eligibility criteria: - As this assignment is funded by CYVA, specific eligibility criteria apply. Candidates must be Chinese nationals affiliated with a university participating in CYVA’s programme. Assignment requirements - No experience required - English, Level: Fluent, Required Required education level: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems / Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science or Database Administration, MIS (Management Information Systems), or a relevant field. Competencies and values: - • Adaptability and Flexibility - • Technological Awareness Skills and experience: - Demonstrated interest and/or experience in: - • CRM design/admin/development, and interest in designing architecture; integrations with platforms like Microsoft SharePoint is encouraged. - • CRM system design, configuration, and administration — within development, humanitarian, or nonprofit settings is a plus. - • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, build CRM workflows, manage relational data, and support end users. - • Previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture, (i.e. studies, volunteer work, internship) would be highly regarded. - • Capability for efficient self management. - • Ability to work and flawlessly communicate within a group. - • Leadership skills are strongly encouraged.
