## Accounting Assistant (Temporary), G4 - Organization:UNOV - United Nations Office at Vienna - Office:UNOV Vienna, Austria Org. Setting and Reporting:This position is located in the Treasury which is within the Accounts Section (AS) of the Financial Resources Management Service (FRMS) Division for Management (DM), United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV – United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The Accounting Assistant (Treasury) will report to the Treasurer or to a more senior Treasury Assistant. Work Experience:A minimum of three years of relevant work experience, including in the field of accounting, finance, or other related fields is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to one for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher. Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) applications, preferably SAP is desirable. Languages:English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this job opening, English is required. While this temporary assignment may provide the successful applicant with an opportunity to gain new work experience, the selection for this position is for a limited period, will normally be at a staff member’s personal grade and has no bearing on the future incumbency of the post. Payment of Special Post Allowance (SPA) to the post level may be considered after three months subject to certain conditions. This position is subject to local recruitment pursuant to staff rule 4.4 of the United Nations Staff Rules. Applicants for positions in the General Service and related categories must be authorized to work for the United Nations in the duty station where the position is located.
