## BIDT Intern, Seoul, Republic of Korea - Organization:UNHCR - United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees - Country:Republic of Korea - Office:UNHCR in Seoul Deadline for Applications Hardship Level (not applicable for home-based) Family Type (not applicable for home-based) Staff Member / Affiliate Type - Support data processing, validation, and reporting activities related to fundraising operations - Support quality checks and data validation for reports, dashboards, and relatedsystems - Assist in maintaining operational documentation, user guides, and knowledgerepositoriesDigital Transformation (DT) Support - Assist in maintaining and updating operational documentation, including usermanuals, standard operating procedures, and system change records - Assist in organizing information related to BIDT systems, projects, and serviceproviders (e.g., roles, contacts, contract/RFQ materials, and incident records) - Assist with basic testing of system changes and new features, and support thedocumentation of related issues and improvement requests - Assist in preparing background materials for system reviews and improvements, and support documentation related to data protection and information securityGeneral Administrative Support - Support administrative and coordination tasks related to BIDT operations - Perform other duties relevant to the position as requested by the supervisorNote: Given that BIDT systems and projects involve multiple internal and external stakeholders, the intern's role will focus on organizing and maintaining operational information rather than directly operating the systems.Minimum qualifications requiredIn order to be considered for an internship, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria: - Be either a recent graduate (having completed their studies within two years ofapplying) or a current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from a university or higher education facility accredited by IAU/UNESCO; and - Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in information systems, computer science, statistics, business administration, economics, data analytics, or other related fields.Desirable qualifications and skills - Knowledge of SQL and the ability to write and understand basic SQL queries - Strong written and spoken communication skills in Korean and English - Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications - Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI or other reporting/visualization tools is an advantage - Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) is an advantage - Interest in data management, reporting, and digital transformation - Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data - Good organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to handle internal and external information carefully and confidentiallyConditionsIt is a full/part-time role with working hours starting from 9.00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). The successful candidate will be assigned to support the team in location / home-based.Allowance: Interns who do not receive financial support from an outside party will receive an allowance to partially help to cover the cost of food, local transportation and living expenses.
