Implemented by UN Women in partnership with Ukrainian Demining Association, NGO Girls and BBC Media Action in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and funding from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development of Canada, and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, the programme supports the development of a more inclusive and gender-responsive mine action workforce in Ukraine. - The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Trainee assignments are aimed to support sustaining living conditions of the female candidates through provision of monetary living allowance. - These assignments are open to female candidates only. - Through nationally aligned training and hands-on learning, participants will gain job-ready skills in various technical areas in humanitarian mine action. The course combines classroom instruction with practical field exercises. - Under the She Demines programme, Deminer Trainees are expected to: - - Fully participate in all assigned modules of the EOD course. - - Comply with all safety regulations, operational procedures, and the code of conduct applicable to the training. - - Actively participate in practical exercises, assessments, and other learning activities throughout the course. - - Maintain regular attendance and promptly inform the programme coordinators of any issues affecting participation. - - Demonstrate responsibility, discipline, commitment, and teamwork throughout the course. - - Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. - ?
