It is a permanent intergovernmental body established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1964. UNCTAD supports developing countries to access the benefits of a globalized economy more fairly and effectively. It provides economic and trade analysis, facilitates consensus-building and offer technical assistance to help developing countries use trade, investment, finance and technology for inclusive and sustainable development.

- The UNCTAD Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) is an integrated customs management system for international trade and transport operations in a modern automated environment. ASYCUDA is a computerized customs management system that covers most foreign trade procedures. It handles manifests and customs declarations, along with accounting, transit and suspense procedures. It also generates trade data that can be used for statistical economic analysis. The ASYCUDA software is developed by UNCTAD. Source: https://asycuda.org/en/about/. - implementing technical assistance projects across most continents, including in Liberia
- Within the context of the UNCTAD ASYCUDA project for the implementation of the new generation of ASYCUDA at LRA in Liberia, a designated driver is required to ensure the timely and secure transportation of the ASYCUDA team in Monrovia on a daily basis for all their professional transportation requirements.
- Provide transport for United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) personnel in Monrovia during the ASYCUDA project in Liberia.
- Candidate must be a national, legal resident or hold refugee status in the country of assignment.

- • Minimum 3 years work experience as a professional driver with administrative responsibilities (preferably with international organizations);
- • Safe driving record;

- • Skills in minor vehicle repair;
- • Knowledge of protocol and customs issues.
