This position is based at the Headquarters at Patancheru, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Tropical dryland areas are usually seen as resource-poor and perennially beset by shocks such as drought, thereby trapping dryland communities in poverty and hunger and making them dependent on external aid. Duties and Responsibilities: - Work independently as a team member with other Technicians in repair, maintenance of laboratory instruments, telephones, office equipment, Fire Alarm system, Wireless communication system, CC camera system, Public address system etc. - Provide Technical Assistance during Institute event, Conferences and Workshops. - Should display initiative to be available beyond normal working hours / off days, as and when required in the interest of work. - Execute timely & quality delivery of various works of the Unit with all safety guidelines & protocols. - Undertake work schedules & PPM activities in time, ensure record are maintained, and provide regular feedback to unit supervisor. - Engage with inter-disciplinary teams in multi-cultural environment. - Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time. Requirements: - Should have ITI/Diploma in Electronics or Electronics and Instrumentation. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Service/ Manufacture sector of Electronics & Instrumentation equipment. - Ability to read and understand electronic schematics, technical drawings and should possess good trouble shooting skills. - Should have basic knowledge of installation, maintenance, and repair of office equipment such as printers, scanners, photocopiers, and related peripherals. Should have basic knowledge in operation of PA system. - Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, including sensor integration, microcontroller-based systems, data acquisition, and communication protocols will be an added advantage - Should have basic computer skills in MS office. - Should be willing to stay in campus subject to availability. General: This is a contractual role for a period of 36 months (03 years), renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the institute’s continuing need for the position.
