For every child,the right to Digital opportunities The Rome Common Services Center (CSC) will be newly established following the relocation of several UNICEF HQ Divisions to Rome, where they will be co-located with WFP HQ. The Rome CSC will play a critical role in delivering operational support to all UNICEF Divisions based in Rome as well as coordinating closely with WFP on the services provided to UNICEF. Under the supervision of the ICT Officer (P2) in the Rome CSC who manages customer services, the incumbent will ensure that the right people and devices have the appropriate access to the right resources at the right time, thereby securing organizational data, maintaining regulatory compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency. This role is a vital component of the UNICEF Rome's overall cybersecurity posture, acting as a gatekeeper for digital identities. How can you make a difference? Be at the forefront of delivering a secure and seamless digital experience for UNICEF staff in Rome. Through effective management of user access, devices, and support services, you will help enable collaboration, productivity, and the delivery of results for children worldwide. 1. User Access and Device Lifecycle Management Creating, managing, and disabling user accounts and device access throughout their profile and tenure with the organization's onboarding, relocating, and off-boarding processes; Supporting user workspace settings 2. Policy and best practice enforcement Defining, implementing, and enforcing access policies and role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure consistency and security across the network and resources; Performing regular maintenance and updates on all ICT equipment 3. Authentication Management Implementing and managing secure authentication methods, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, to verify identities effectively; 4. Monitoring and Auditing Continuously monitoring user and device activity for potential security incidents, conducting regular access reviews, and generating reports for compliance purposes; Supporting ICT Asset inventory tracking (Asset counter) 5. Minimum requirements: - Education:Completion of Secondary Education is required. Professional and/ or university/ professional courses related to System Engineering, Computer Science, Programming or equivalent specialized training are an asset. ITIL Foundation Certificate or equivalent customer support certification is an asset. - Work Experience:At least 6 years of professional experience in IT Support or IT Customer Service and related enterprise system environment is required. Experience in assisting users on IT/ Business products and services and use of applications and diagnostic tools is required. Experience and proficiency with ID management system like Microsoft Entra system and Admin tools including PowerShell is required. - Skills:MS365, Analytical Skills, Problem-solving Skills, ID Management System Proficiency, Diagnostic Tools Usage. - Language Requirements:Fluency in English is required. - Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset. - Good knowledge of Microsoft suite such as MS365, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Copilot etc. is an asset. - Knowledge of UNICEF's Ticketing system (ServiceNow) is an asset. - Work experience at a Shared Services Center is an asset. - Knowledge of UN/ UNICEF's rules, regulations and procedures are considered as assets. - Experience in managing and maintaining cloud services such as Infrastructure, Platform, etc. as a Service is an asset. - Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
