UNICEF Haiti is looking for a dedicated, results-driven Education Officer to help advance quality, equitable and inclusive education for children across development, humanitarian and nexus contexts. In this role, you will support programme planning, implementation and monitoring; strengthen partnerships with government and implementing partners; use data and evidence to inform decision-making; and contribute to effective coordination and reporting. Based in Port-au-Prince and reporting to the Chief of Education, your work will help turn education programmes into tangible results for children, strengthen programme delivery, and support UNICEF and its partners in addressing education needs and expanding learning opportunities, particularly in complex and emergency contexts. Minimum requirements: - Education: A completed first level university degree (Bachelor's degree) in Education, International Development, Social Sciences, Programme Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, or another relevant technical field is required. - Work Experience: A minimum of (2) two years of relevant professional experience in education programme planning, implementation, monitoring, partnership management, data analysis and/or reporting is required. Experience in Education in Emergencies, including planning, implementation and monitoring of education responses in humanitarian settings, is required. - Skills: Experience in programme development and planning Ability to apply Results-Based Management principles to programme planning, monitoring and reporting. Strong capacity for stakeholder coordination, including with government counterparts - Language Requirements: Proficiency in French and intermediate level of English is required. - Language: Knowledge of Haitian Creole and any other official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) is an asset. - A completed advanced university degree in a relevant field is considered an asset. - Experience in broader humanitarian and/or nexus programming is an asset. - Experience working with government counterparts and implementing partners, including monitoring workplans, budgets, results and indicators, is highly desirable. - Relevant experience with UNICEF, another UN agency, or an international development/humanitarian organization is an asset. - Strong analytical, drafting, coordination and organizational skills are desirable. - Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
