Within the Division of Global Communication and Advocacy (DGCA), the Youth Engagement Team works to ensure that young people's perspectives are integrated into UNICEF's communications, advocacy, and campaigns. U-Report, one of UNICEF's flagship youth engagement initiatives, is a digital platform that enables young people to participate through polls, messaging channels, and digital campaigns. The platform provides real-time data and insights that inform programme decisions, advocacy efforts, and public policy discussions while empowering young people to contribute to positive change in their communities. As the Digital Communication Officer (U-Report Data Officer), you will provide technical expertise in analytics, monitoring and evaluation, and digital insights to strengthen UNICEF's global U-Report programme. Key responsibilities include: - Monitoring and reporting on U-Report's global growth, engagement, and performance indicators. - Assist in the preparation of RapidPro flows on agreed content for polls, chatbots and other U-Report actions, ensuring required M&E structures are in place. - Analyzing poll results, chatbot interactions, and engagement data to produce actionable insights and reports for programme, partners, and U-Report community. - Developing data visualizations and narratives to support programme teams, partners, and decision-makers. - Utilize various digital analysis tools to generate detailed monthly and annual digital performance reports of U-Report digital platforms (e.g. website, online app) and social media. - Providing insights on audience behaviour, emerging trends, and digital engagement opportunities. - Supporting Regional and Country Offices in strengthening monitoring and evaluation practices and using U-Report data effectively.
