UNICEF has now issued a Request for Proposals in order to
service provider to conduct the research for the Status of Inequity
in Immunization and Programmatic Implications. The objective of
this consultancy is to produce a comprehensive assessment of
inequities in immunization among children and women, including the
development of analytical products, a Status of Inequity in
Immunization Report, and policy brief(s). These outputs will
synthesize key drivers of inequity and identify scalable,
high-impact, and sustainable pathways for accelerating progress
towards the equity goals of the Immunization Agenda 2030 (IA2030)
and UNICEF's Immunization Roadmap to 2030. Strategic objectives The
initiative would aim to: 1. Define the next frontier of
immunization equity, moving beyond broad zero-dose categories
toward a sharper understanding of missed communities and
overlapping deprivations. 2. Synthesize progress and gaps from 2019
to 2024/2025, and outline what is needed to accelerate progress
toward 2030 and beyond. 3. Generate forward-looking evidence,
including projections on zero-dose children in urban, minorities
and underserved groups until 2050, investment case on costs of
reaching the last child, building assets and agency of adolescent
mothers and equity implications of lives saved through immunization
as part of broader PHC. 4. Promote actionable country and
subnational strategies, including targeting, service delivery
optimization, private-sector engagement, financing and governance.
5. Create a recurring advocacy platform that can be
institutionalized as a flagship UNICEF contribution to IA2030 and
global immunization equity. This tender will be run through the
