## Analyst, Green Mobilization, London, United Kingdom - Organization:EBRD - European Bank for Reconstruction and Development - Country:United Kingdom Requisition ID: 36966 Office Country: United Kingdom Division: Policy and Partnerships Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Length: 2 years Posting End Date: 02/09/2026 - Support across the team and engage with relevant partners in project preparation and operational support, content development and stakeholder engagement and operational reporting and data management. - Coordinate and contribute as a project team member to the activities related to GET data management and analysis, green fund proposal development and reviewing, drafting and researching content, ensuring effective and efficient communications flows and knowledge management, support project management and tracking progress, as well as managing internal and external processes. - Carry out other relevant tasks assigned by Head of PRP and more senior members of the project teams, including developing relevant knowledge products. - No budgetary responsibility Accountabilities & Responsibilities Project preparation & operational support - Contribute to the preparation and coordination of project applications for the InvestEU Investment Committee, including drafting submissions and responding to follow-up queries. - Develop high-quality presentations and analytical materials to support InvestEU-related meetings and Investment Committees. - Collaborate with InvestEU Coordinators and banking teams to ensure alignment with InvestEU and EBRD policy objectives, while supporting the enhancement of climate/green ambition. - Assist in assessing project eligibility and evaluating sustainability requirements in line with both InvestEU guidance and EBRD methodologies. Content development & stakeholder engagement - Contribute to the development of additionality narratives (financial, climate, and environmental) underpinning the use of InvestEU guarantees. - Provide analytical input for European Commission requests, including framework updates and policy review processes. - Support the implementation and development of the InvestEU pipeline through engagement with financial institutions, consultants, and EU stakeholders. - Conduct targeted research and analysis on climate, environmental, and sustainable finance policies, with a focus on EU legislation and relevant regulatory frameworks. Operational support, reporting & data management - Support the preparation of internal and external reporting on InvestEU and Green Mobilisation activities, including donor-specific requirements. - Maintain and improve internal databases, tracking tools, and data management systems. The Analyst is expected to proactively learn and familiarise with other green policies and mobilisation instruments of the Bank, in order to evolve operations accordingly and operate within the context of the broader mandate of CSD and the Bank, as well as how we engage with the relevant partnerships, and contribute towards the Bank's delivery of the GET 2030 Strategy. - Relevant academic degree(s) and professional experiences with strong financial, business and economics training combined with climate and environmental policy and sustainable finance knowledge; knowledge of EU policy frameworks is desirable. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret regulatory and technical documents. - Experiences working in development finance, donor-funded programmes, or blended finance instruments. Familiarity with international environmental and social standards (e.g. Paris Agreement, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD). - Ability to operate consistently within business guidelines and ethics and work sensitively in multicultural environments, building effective working relations with clients and colleagues. - Ability to communicate appropriate, concise and accurate information in verbal and written formats, appropriate to the audience at the time. - Self-motivated, ability to work to and meet tight deadlines and to plan and organise work unsupervised in a logical and efficient manner. - Strong team player with ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment. Experiences in stakeholder engagement and ability to manage complex processes and circumstances that require strong interpersonal and coordination skills for building consensus is a plus. - Sound understanding of business and finance principles. - Knowledge and/or experience in emerging markets, including EBRD countries of operations. - Computer literacy and excellent written/oral communication skills in English are essential; other languages from the EBRD region are advantageous What is it like to work at the EBRD?
